Kabambe shares plan for conomic growth, youth empowerment in Mangochi

Former Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Governor and the Presidential hopeful in the 2025 general elections Dr. Dalitso Kabambe recently spoke to a large crowd in Mangochi, promising a better economy for Malawi.

He shared his plan to control inflation, keep the Kwacha stable, make forex available, and ensure the prices of basic goods remain steady.

Kabambe also spoke about creating jobs, growing the economy, raising wages, and bringing prosperity to the country.

Addressing the youth, who make up 70% of the Malawi’s population, Kabambe encouraged them to unite and take charge of the country’s future.

He reminded them that they hold the power to elect the next president and that their vote could bring real change.

“We are the ones to decide; it is our time. This country is in our hands,” he said.

His speech was praised as clear, well-delivered, and inspiring.

Many in the audience agreed that he is fully prepared to take on the country’s challenges.

With his experience in government and deep knowledge of the economy, Kabambe believes he can address Malawi’s current challenges.
